Notes from the Chef

Hello again! On Thursday, we will be doing a buffet instead of the our burger special.  The Club Menu will be closed for the evening.   The pork chop on Friday will have a parmesan peppercorn crust and stuffed with a boursin Portobello mix, and served with a crispy polenta cake. The crab and shrimp pasta feature will be tossed with candied sun dried tomatoes, peas, onions and Portobello’s with a garlic butter cream sauce.  On Saturday, the pizza will be topped with candied habanero maple bacon, pesto, strawberries, fresh cracked black pepper, feta and arugula. And finally, Sunday, we are doing a Wisconsin classic butter burger. The burger is mixed with caramelized onions, seared on the flat top and topped with American cheese, then served on a bun doused in butter. Good luck and safe travels to all Clipper Cup Racers this weekend!

Clipper Cup Race Info – Muskegon to Port Washington, Wisconsin.  More information is available at  Registration and party on 8/10 starting at 5 pm.  Clipper Cup Racers…please do not leave your cars in the MYC lot on Friday.  Please park on the street or at Torresen’s.  Thank you!

We are anticipating well over 100 kids at this years WMJSA regatta on Friday 8/11.  If you are able to help  direct traffic or help on the beach, please contact Roger Zuidema or Scott Corder.

The MYC pool will now close at 9 pm daily (Monday – Sunday) and is schedule to close for the season on 9/6.
