All other applicants will be placed on a first come/first served basis. Such lists will be placed on the Dock and Yard bulletin board. Requests to be placed on the list must be accompanied by a $50.00 deposit. The deposit will be handled by the same rules governing the slip fee deposit.

Anyone who has not paid the required fee by the due date will lose their priority status.
- Any dry sail area user or storage user with priority status may relinquish this privilege, upon written application to, and approval of the Dock and Yard Committee, with payment of 1/2 of the regular fee. This user will be assigned his/her priority status the following season.
- All dinghies and dry sail boats will be stored in designated areas only.
- All dinghies, boats, masts and trailers are required to have a MYC supplied sticker conspicuously displayed. Summer storage of masts separate from boats is not allowed. Masts are not to be stored on the boardwalk, or walkways at any time. Masts may be placed temporarily on the lawn two weeks before and one week after Launch and Haulout. Any masts found in an unauthorized area will be moved and the owner charged for alternate storage.

SLIPS (Top of Page)
- Transient docking fees shall be set at the beginning of each year. Non-members must register and pay for dockage upon arrival. Members who voluntarily pre-register shall have this fee reduced by half. Any boat tied to the dock for more than six hours shall pay docking fees. Any boat tied to a dock after 11:PM shall pay docking fees. Members who fail to register shall be assessed an additional $25 penalty.
- A regular or life member can request to have his/her name placed on a waiting list for slips by application to the Dock and Yard committee submitted with a payment of $150. Upon assignment of a slip, the member's deposit will be applied to the first years slip fee. If a member accepts a slip, and later does not pay the fee by the due date, the member will forfeit the slip deposit and the slip will be reassigned to the next person on the list. The slip deposit is refundable when the member no longer wishes to have his/her name on the list. A member accepting a slip and wishing to have their name remain on the list must pay the current deposit and will receive a new application date. Note: Associate members on the list may maintain their position by upgrading their membership status prior to the December 2002 slip assignment meeting, otherwise, they will be dropped off the list.
- Slip renters wanting a transfer to a larger or smaller slip must place their name on the waiting list. The fee shall be $150. Renters do not need to be on the waiting list to transfer to a similar size slip.
- The waiting list for slips and transfer list shall be posted on the Dock and Yard bulletin board and kept current. Posting of names will be made only by the Dock and Yard Committee.
- Assignment of slips:
- The Dock and yard Committee reserves the right to assign all slips.
- All prior year slip renters will be entitled to a slip for their boat.
- The renter of the slip must be the predominant user of the boat and the slip.
- Slip rental fees will be billed in October. Payment in full must be received no later than December 1. Any slip renter who has not paid the slip fee by the due date loses the right to a slip. Partial payments will not be considered as payment.
- Slips will be assigned at the December Dock and Yard Committee meeting, which will be the first Saturday after December 1st. A member wanting a slip, or an authorized delegate, must be at the meeting.
- Slip transfers among existing renters who want to transfer to a similar size slip will be made first. Transfers shall be made on the basis of seniority and availability of slips.
- Open slips shall then be assigned to members on the waiting list based on seniority and availability of slips. Current slip renters who are not on the waiting list, but who are at the meeting, are eligible to request a similar slip transfer if a slip becomes open.
- Slips which become available after the December assignment meeting shall be assigned on the basis of first those on the transfer slip list and then those on the waiting list for new slips and who were at the December assignment meeting. Such assignments shall be temporary for one year. The Dock and Yard committee has the discretion to not use this method if a slip becomes open after launch and it would be impractical to contact those at the slip meeting due to time constraints.
- A member may rent only one slip at a time.
- Slip rental fees from new renters are due thirty (30) days from the date of invoice.
- Slips can only be assigned which are adequate for the member's boat in the opinion of the Dock and Yard Committee. Normally this would be the following standard:
Slip Numbers:

- A slip renter may relinquish his/her slip privileges for upon written application to and approval of the Dock and Yard Committee and payment of 1/2 of their slip fee. This renter will be assigned a slip the following season. The relinquished slip will be assigned for one season only, to the next eligible person on the waiting list, for the full current fee.
- Unattended boats will not be allowed to be tied to the dock for more than four (4) hours. Violators of this rule will be subject to the prescribed monetary fee.
- Upon the demise of a slip renter, only the legal spouse of the slip renter can continue renting the slip, if she or he is or becomes a regular member or life member.
- Members tied up at any of the docks at the yacht club on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays may not have dinghies or inflatables in tow, since they occupy valuable dock space needlessly. Dinghies or inflatables are permitted only in rented slips provided that they don't obstruct the fairway.
